FUT finally solved a map that had been eating them alive for months. G2 beat somebody who was already on the floor and then talked like they had beaten somebody healthy.

Second lesson, and this one is worth real rating: 2-10 is not over. Most solo queue players mentally check out around round eight of a bad half, and the chat falls apart long before the economy does. Vitality did nothing magical there. They stopped forcing, took it back one full buy at a time, and let the other side feel what closing actually costs.

Look, you cannot buy that kind of composure, and you definitely cannot buy it from four randoms who are typing instead of trading. But you can stop letting a coinflip lobby decide your whole season. Beating a NAVI in this state is a survival result, not a statement result. It keeps you in the event. It tells you nothing new about how you handle a team that is playing well and prepped specifically for you. I said something like this the last time a big org won an elimination game and immediately started talking about ceilings, and I will keep saying it.

What I do respect is dumau's framing on the other side of the bracket. He said his team likes these big challenges and that the tough losses here will help them grow. That is how you talk after a rough week. No ceiling projection, no top five math, just an admission that they got beaten and that the beating is useful information.

Confidence is real, I am not pretending otherwise. But confidence follows results, it does not summon them. Teams crack a top five by winning matches they were supposed to lose, not by winning the ones they were supposed to win and then narrating them into something bigger.
