Call of Duty Weapon Leveling: Frequently Asked Questions

Each of the 33 launch weapons levels on its own track and unlocks an attachment every level. Max Level differs per weapon: 53 to 75 on Primary weapons, 37 to 46 on Secondary weapons, 46 on the Melee weapon. Weapon XP comes from Multiplayer and DMZ. You pick the target and the number of guns, and list them in your notes.

€9.99 to take a weapon to Max Level, €23.99 for Weapon Prestige 1 at its Max Level, €53.99 for Weapon Prestige Master at Level 250, each per weapon and multiplied by the number of guns. All 33 launch weapons to Max Level is €248.99.

Weapon Prestige 1 resets the weapon to Level 1 and relocks attachments, except Apex and Weapon Blueprint attachments. Blueprints, camos, reticles, accessories, decals and stickers stay. Prestige Master does not reset the level.

How weapon leveling and Weapon Prestige work

Each of the 33 launch weapons levels on its own track, from Multiplayer and DMZ, and unlocks an attachment every level. Max Level differs per weapon. Weapon Prestige is optional and opens at Max Level: it resets the weapon to Level 1 and relocks attachments except Apex and Weapon Blueprint ones, while blueprints, camos, reticles, accessories, decals and stickers stay. Reach Max Level again and you enter Master Prestige automatically, with no further reset, on to Level 250.
