GenG Dominates LCK
Gen.G, a South Korean esports company, had a strong start to the 2022 season by assembling a roster that was filled with top talent.
Up until a certain point, they lived up to their expectations, and their connection was even more apparent during the ongoing split. In the LCK 2022 Summer Split, Gen.G has won the first four games they played, maintaining their sole-possession of first place.
With their victory over KT Rolster, the series officially began. The members of KT are also quite talented, particularly Lee "Aria" Ga-eul and Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan. With a rather simple victory, Gen.G made a good start in the LCK 2022 Summer Split.
Gen.G also defeated DWG KIA, their most formidable foe, with ease. After three games, they were able to win and end the series with a 2-1 victory despite losing one game. Last but not least, Gen.G defeated Fredit BRION, the lone LCK team without a single victory.
Gen.G Is the Best LCK Team
Professional LoL statistics should often be treated with caution because they usually include serious errors and only provide partial information. It's possible that this isn't totally accurate in the instance of the Gen.G split.
This split has been incredibly successful for Gen.G thus far, with a 13-1 record as of August 1 and only three games lost overall. T1 breaking record after record during the last split would have made Gen.performance G's a lot bigger topic of discussion right now.
The supremacy of Gen.G goes beyond the standings and affects every player's performance on the leaderboard for LCK KDA. Four of the top five positions are filled by Gen.G players.
Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk, the top bot laner, has a staggering 9.2 KDA over 30 games. Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon, a mid laner, is behind him with 8.5, followed by Han "Peanut" Wang-ho, a jungler, with 7.3. Only Heo "ShowMaker" Su, a mid laner for DWG KIA, has been able to keep up with these Gen.G players.
These statistics demonstrate that, Gen.G is better THSN this split, even when compared to T1, who is closely behind them. In order to defeat Gen.G, each LCK club will have to rise early.
Following the acquisition of "Chovy", Gen.G made it clear how much they desired the title. One of the top League of Legends players in the entire globe is the South Korean mid laner. With him alongside such talented players as Peanut, Ruler, Doran, and Lehends, it was clear that Gen.G would rule the league once their chemistry problems were resolved.
Conclusion
Fans of League of Legends were treated to an incredible match in August, in which Gen.G defeated T1. Until Gen.G swept them away in the outrageously one-sided match that ended with a score of 3-0, the latter was considered to be an almost unbeatable team.
T1 will compete with Gen.G in the worlds despite the shocking loss. Essentially, T1 earned enough points after defeating DWG KIA to qualify for the largest LoL tournament of the year.
