Existing guild points decrease by a certain percentage on a weekly basis. This occurs so that new guilds can catch up to existing guilds. New guilds still have to work hard, though, as the existing guild points do not disappear completely, thus, still giving them a chance to be the leaders.
How do you earn points? Points can be acquired by:
- Playing games within the guild. You are going to receive more points if you play with people who are guildmates.
- Complete the guild tasks and challenges given to you.
What are Guild Contracts?
A guild contract is a quest that players can participate in and complete to earn points and shards. Each player receives one contract a day; Dota Plus players get two deals daily. The difficulty of the contracts also varies. They are rated from level one to three, three being the most difficult. The higher the level of difficulty, the more rewards you are going to receive.
