Is It Possible to Change Skins Before the Overwatch Game Starts?

Hooray Overwatch players! New Year has come and of course, there are also updates about your favorite gameplay! We all know that Overwatch is one of the most-sought after games currently because it offers a plethora of outfits that the gamers can enjoy. And now, another surprising feature has been added to entice you even more!

This Year of the Dog, the developers of Overwatch were able to add a new option wherein players will have the ability to change the skin of their character before the match begins. It has been requested by many avid fans, and thankfully, Blizzard granted our request!

Together with this update, Blizzard also noted that this option should only be done at the start of the match. They didn’t make a way to let it happen in the middle of the game to avoid interruption in the match. They want to prevent players from waiting longer while the other participant is taking too much time to decide on the outfit that he wants for his character.

This new feature was already launched on February 8, and many players were already enjoying it. It can be activated by setting the “Assemble Your Team” screen. It is easy to navigate and user-friendly to avoid confusing the users. Just make sure that you do it before the start of the match because you are not given an option to do it in the middle of the game. So, make up your mind as early as possible.

Another exciting news is that a new map set in Thailand is added on the event. It is a special one because it was created exclusively for Capture the Flag. In the history of Overwatch, it is the first map crafted for Capture the Flag and some new skins including Widowmaker, Genji, Hanzo, Pharah, McCree, and Mercy. These outfits are part of the Legendary set.

Also available are new cosmetics like sprays and victory poses that will surely bring the gameplay to the intense level. It makes the experience more fun and enjoyable. This year has given us a lot of surprises and we can’t wait for more upcoming updates as the time approaches. The collection has been growing and there is a lot more to show off. Indeed, Blizzard is not taking a break when it comes to improving their games and their features.
